What was the highlight of Bungalows Castillo Beach

A good cheap base for a room only holiday

The location is good but on a hill taxis are only 3 euros into town though. The place is basic but the beds are comfortable and the showers hot so a good base. There are 3/4 pools however do not expect a maid service our beds were never changed or towels whole time we were there I ended up washing at laundrette on site.

Fab bungalows shame about the area around it

Beds where very comfy,shower fab,had everything we needed,staff great

Pool wasn't overly clean,bungalows where fab unfortunately there a lot of work being done around them so isn't the cleanest of places

Wouldn’t stay here again but pool looked nice.

Location was okay short 15 min walk to main restaurants, beach etc. Large supermarket about 10min walk away. Pool looked nice and clean. Lots of sunbeds available.

Bugs everywhere in the property, every draw I opened there was bugs running around. Beds were super uncomfortable and I could feel the springs from the mattress. The whole place looked shabby including the brown frayed towels.

Cheap but not cheerful.

Plenty of hot water. Bed linen clean. Clean and tidy throughout.

Bed was awful, like sleeping on a rock. No kettle or toaster on arrival. Reception advised they would get them the next day, after check-in at 15.30?? Staff not friendly. Cockroaches in kitchen and bathroom at night.

Mixed bag at Castillo bungalows.

The area. The pool.

Poor housekeeping.. one change of bed sheets in 2 weeks. Door was falling apart. Key did not work properly. Maintenance man did not know his job. Bath was from the dark ages. Rusty etc.

Perfect Base

There is nothing to complain about regarding the property. Location, value, and facilities all good. Excellent shower and clean linen. No change of bed linen or towels during the weeks stay.

The only criticism is that the floors were not as clean as I would have liked, and there was no mop or bucket to do them over.

Spacious 2 bedroom bungalow, nice pool

Room wasn't serviced, no clean towels, sheets etc. Couches in living room very old & not comfortable. No snack bar at pool (we stayed at moon)

The location was good, I requested a room near the pool which I got, thank you! We stayed in the Moon but if I was to return I would prefer to stay at the Lake as the apartments WiFi didn't work and we were able to use the WiFi from the pool bar at the Lake!, as I was travelling with a teenager WiFi is essential! We used the tennis court which was a great asset!

The complex is a bit tired and could do with updating!

basic you get what you pay for good for short stay

basic but had all you needed and right next to the pool

cockroaches even after using spray and lack of maid service, I was a long stay and apartment was cleaned once a week I requested rubbish removal as it gathered flies but it didn’t happen, I put it outside but maids just walked past it. got my own fresh towels and toilet roll from reception and bedding

Beautiful pools

Pool areas and gardens are beautiful, bed extremely comfortable, rooms are large, staff are wonderful.

It is extremely dated and broken furniture however the price reflects that.

Well booking through booking.com and told we would be staying in a room like you have stayed in before satellite TV see view ???????? well it's never been much of a see view before but a 20ft wall to look at sitting on the terrace ???? a TV that if you put it outside it would still be there a week later as no one uses them anymore,may as well been black and white ,I know you get what you at for but when you pay a bit more and book through booking.com you normally get the better of the rooms , well not as described by booking.com not what I payed for

very good value for money you pay for what you get and would stay again

the pool was excellent and the location was suitable for the cost it was good

the rooms need updating and a change of bedding and towels had to be requested via reception and perhaps just once a week would be ideal. the third bedd settee was not fit for purpose
